Barbara Berk's S-Curve Brooch

I compile the information for the News & Announcements section of Art Jewelry, and I love hearing about new shows, museum exhibits, workshops, competitions, and other special events in the jewelry world. Recently, we heard that a brooch by Barbara Berk, a jeweler who works in high-karat gold and platinum, was donated to the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. S-Curve Brooch is made of 18k gold sheet and wire and is fastened with a stickpin that has a 14.20-carat citrine carved by Sherris Cottier Shank.

Check out the article "Barbara Berk Jewelry donated to the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston" to learn more about this museum acquisition. To see more of Berk's jewelry, visit her Web site at www.barbaraberkdesigns.com. For more of Cottier Shank's gems, visit her Web site www.gemscapes.com.

We love hearing about upcoming jewelry-related shows, workshops, and museum exhibits, so if you know of any in your area, please contact us.
