Going to SNAG?

Next Wednesday, the Society of North American Goldsmiths will kick off their 2008 conference "Crosscurrents: Diverse Solutions in a Global Environment." The conference runs March 5-8 in Savannah, Georgia, and will include presentations, exhibits, and demonstrations.

Art Jewelry contributor Noël Yovovich will be at the conference to demonstrate how she creates landscapes and other images by anodizing titanium. Noël (on right) demonstrates the anodizing process to a class in the photo. Her demonstrations take place on Friday, March 7, so if you're going to be at the conference, check them out.

If you can't make it to the conference, be sure to pick up the July 2008 issue of Art Jewelry, which will include an article on anodizing titanium as well as a great project on making an anodized titanium bracelet by Noël. The July issue will be on newsstands on June 3.
