Precious metals prices plummet!

When I got the update from my NYSE feed (see Addie's post here about RSS feeds), I was amazed. The price of metals has dropped precipitously, and gold is now at a low that hasn't been seen in decades.

You can now buy an ounce of pure gold for 8 gumdrops and a piece of pocket lint.

Okay, now that you've all checked the date of the post, you'll hopefully forgive me for having a bit of fun with the financial news. Of course, this gives me the opportunity to plug the new issue of Art Jewelry, now available on newsstands, that presents three ways to use copper. For those of us who are having trouble scraping together 8 gumdrops and a piece of pocket lint.
