Find a bargain at Ex-Boyfriend Jewelry

A friend and I were talking about jewelry last week, and she asked me if I had ever seen exboyfriendjewelry.com. I hadn't, so she brought up the site. What a site! The idea behind it is that women can sell jewelry and other gifts that were given to them by ex-boyfriends. (The site's tagline sums it up perfectly: You don't want it. He can't have it back.)

Looking over the posts, it's apparent that women aren't the only ones using the site. I spotted a few posts by men who bought jewelry for their girlfriends but didn't have the chance to give the gifts before the couples broke up. If you're not interested in jewelry associated with bad relationships, there are also posts by people looking to sell jewelry they purchased for themselves but don't want anymore.

With every item listed, there's "the scoop" which is the story behind why the jewelry is up for sale. Jewelry descriptions, images, and condition reports are also listed.

Tell me what you think. Would you sell your jewelry (from an ex-boyfriend or not) to get some cash for your heartache? Would you buy jewelry for yourself that was given by an ex-boyfriend?

Presuming there were some good times in the relationship, I don't think I would sell jewelry from the ex.  If it was an engagement ring, I'd give it back if I was the one who broke it off.  If he broke it off, and there were financial repercussions (nonrefundable deposits, for example), I guess I might sell the ring to recoup the losses.
