My new elvish AC collection :)

These pieces come from my new collection inspired by a language created by J.R.R. Tolkien as grey elves' language called sindarin. Each piece is my interpretation of some word from this elvish language :). Made using metal clay of course :).

    1) Lalaith - Laughter with yellow sapphires

    2) Hithlain - "Mist-thread" with labradorite

    3) Meleth - Love with garnets

    4) Eithel - Source/Spring with topazes.

You have a wonderful attention to detail. I'd love to hear more about the stories. Thanks for the inspiration and eye candy. ~ Holly

A visual and tactile interpretation of a difficult language. Looks lovely.

Thank you Holly and Maille_Fantasy. I love this style of interlaced organic-like lines and it was really great fun creating this :)

     Lovely work.

I am about to try using Art Clay for the first time with just a small handheld torch. It's good to see that so much detail can be obtained. I'll see how I get on and look at getting a kiln someday if I can create something decent with it.

I don't have a kiln myself. I use a gas stove and a torch. I want to buy a kiln this autumn to try other metal clays - especially bronze and gold clay.

And one more sindarin projects - Elvellon - elf friend :)

and a few more not from this collection

"Water" with a grey opal, "Goddess" with an emerald and earrings with enamel.

I really like the last two The green stone with the female shape in the background is lovely and I like the clean, sharp straight lines in the last one....softened with the circle of flowers.

I enjoy seeing what you've done.
