    Concave cuff bracelet?

I know this is pretty basic but...how do you make a solid 1" by 6" sheet of silver into a concave cuff bracelet???? I know how to make a basic cuff, but have no idea how to make it concave or convex?  I've made rings into a concave shape by placing a metal ball on top of the finished ring and stretching out either sides, but how do you it with a cuff bracelet??  Do you use a forming block??  Any advise would be helpful!  Thank you so much!

You formed them on a sinusodial stake.

    What loopy said....

You can do a search for anticlastic raising and get some information on the technique. And while it may SEEM "basic", it's much more labor intensive than it looks like at first glance.

FYI: Anticlastic = concave    Synclastic = convex
