    Cynthias new work

I never really started one of these threads so I thought I would post what I have done to date from most recent to older work... its by no means all of my stuff but its a selection mainly enamelling items :) Warning - I am into brooches mainly so most of these are made to be brooches or pins.

    Most recent:

Bitter  (Brooch. Slumped bead over enamel)

This was a bit of an experiment .. bead slump, enamel stencilled, glass rod

    ElectroTentacle (Cloisonné brooch)

Forgot about this one! It kind of looks 50's TV jetsons like.. don't ask me to explain its just a 'jist' :) it was just a muck around piece with a bit of copper I thought I wasnt any good but it turned out quiet nice.. (it does still need a good clean though ;)

BettaSplendens  (Enamel, bead and rod slump)

Head  (Transparent Polymer, Polymer transfers, Brooch)

Victoria (textured Red glitter Polymer, brooch)

    JellyBebe (Resin, brooch)

    OLDER STUFF

    Klimto (Cloisonné Brooch)

    Treespoke (Etching, oil enamel)

    GeomAqua (Silver Cloisonné Brooch)

Hey, if I drive over to WA, can I get a couple of lessons on enameling with you? These are terrific, and I know that you have posted some of them before, but it was great to see the progression, particularly with your recent work. I'm surprised you didn't also include your polymer muscles.

Amazing precision with the enamels and such a variety of techniques with the collection too.

Aww thankyou so much! and we are currently building a studio which you are welcome in any time you're in WA :)I have plenty of supplies (I'm a Thompsons enamel junkie)

I guess I see the muscles (which are moulded from existing forms..just been looking at Fava's stuff...le sigh ..to have such talent!) as test pieces but will include them in this post :) mind you I did end up sticking a cheap brooch pin on the back, didnt let the glue dry, stuck to my expensive designer coat which ripped out a nice chunk of my lapel - I accidentally shrunk the jacket to a third of its size a week later lol - that head one is a sore point... the offending pin...(and its siblings)
