SoulStoneDesigns:I'm in Vista, just north of San Diego - anyone else around here?
Lots of beaders in San Diego!! The Bead Society just had a meeting yesterday-- it's the 3d Sat of almost every month, at Mingei Museum in Balboa Park, at 10 AM. I'm in Allied Gardens-- near Qualcomm Stadium (about where 8 and 15 intersect). There are several members in the Mira Mesa area, which is sort of half way to where you are... and members that come down from Temecula, which is even further away than Vista.
If you're interested in beaded flowers... there's a group that meets at the Vista Buddhist Temple in the community center, but I'm not sure re: times/days. These ladies do whole bouquets of flowers... ikebana arrangements....
