It has been a while since I participated in the forum but would like to show one of my recently learned wire wrapping technique from Iza (the tutorial is published in Step by Step Wire Jewelry Mag-Summer Issue). the result from her tutorial is this wire woven bead cap.

Mei, You did a great job and wonderful photography.  I tried my hand at making those too, I've done three so far, one with a chunk of coral, the other two with very large round chevron beads.  Each one is an improvement on the other, this technique takes a lot of patience and quite a bit of wire.  Thanks for sharing your work with us.  Jeanie
