    Using Delia's Tutorial......

I used Delia's fabulous tutorial to create this bezel and bail.  The stone is Brazilian Blue Chalcedony with Swarovski Crystals.  I highly recommend this tutorial!  Thanks Delia!  Hope you like it....

I get to be the first to respond!!  THAT doesn't happen too often!.....lovely lovely piece!!  You did a great job!  Was it hard to do??  How long did it take you to make?  I haven't attempted something like this yet!.....hopefully one day soon!!

Kam - thank you!  It is not hard to do, but takes a little practice like anything else (mine is not perfect by any means!)  Delia's tutorial is very detailed and easy to follow if you want to try it.

Has anyone compared Delisa tutorial with Eni Oken tutorial? I've used a couple of Enis before and been happy with them, but I haven't tried Delias

I have not compared, but I have purchased Eni' tuts in the past and they were very good, but speaking from experience on this particular technique, I thought Delia's tut was excellent with detailed photos.  Give it a try!

WOW, Mary!  You did a fabulous job!  This is one super sexy pendant!  And I'm not just tootin' your horn because you used my tut.  This is really beautiful!  It looks very classy and high dollar.  Excellent work!  Thank you for sharing, I'm thrilled with your results!

    Very nice Mary!!

Did Delia's tut include the use of all the beads/gems or was that your inclusion/spinon it? either way, they look great!!

Ahhh... then there's only one thing left to do!  :::wicked laughter:::  Try one of Delia's. :)

Okay, okay.... that was a shameless plug, lol.  The truth is that I've used Eni's tuts in the past and I'd have to agree that her tutorials are always excellent.  Though mine are formatted differently, I would say that I think you would find either to be satisfactory.  I have clear quality photos with step by step instructions, just as Eni does.  In the end it really comes down to a matter of personal preference, and IMHO, you can't go wrong either way.  ;)

The tutorial keeps it simple with just two accent beads.  One on the bail and one centered below the bail on the bezel.  Adding all the sparklies was Mary's own idea, and what a fabulous idea it was.  It looks so incredibly gemmy!

Mary, Of course you have my attention any time sparklies are used - but you really did a great job - only you see the "flaws" LOL That chalcedony is one of my favorites, and you framed it beautifully! Perri /Shaktipaj
