    Resin and lapis sterling ring

    Sorry, these pics are huge.

This is hand tinted resin with lapis on top - set in a fabricated sterling ring. :)

(ok, they aren't huge, I forgot they get resized here -- which also makes them look pixilated. . . sorry! hopefully if you click it will clear them up)

Janice, Nice work.  I like the simplicity of design.  Lapis is my favorite.  Jeanie

What a great idea! I love how it looks like the lapis is just sitting there!

This is such a nice stong but simple design.  What I really like is that it could be worn by a man or a woman.

Janice, I'm curious about how you attached the lapis setting.  Is it a wide bezel that goes all the way down to the silver base below or is it somehow cemented onto the resin layer?  I'm just now getting interested in working with resin.  I like your work.   Jeanie

Love the black and blue color contrast.

Thanks Janice, I did receive it and replied to it.  I think it won't show up in this forum but in your personal e mail box which I think you access through your profile page. I'm not really computer literate, I just stumble around until I get it to do what I want.  Anyway, thanks for responding to my question and I think the technique you use is a good idea and was very helpful.
