    Studio Setup Books?

I know I've seen, at jewelry shows, books that help to layout a jewelrymaking studio. So, I figured I could go to my Rio Grande catalog to find at least one, but couldn't find any in there.  I won't be going to any shows soon so I need some help. Can anyone suggest any books that give different layout designs or even one for a jewelrymaking studio?  I'm having a 12' x 22' room added to my house to use as a studio and I'd like to be smart about how I put it together.  Thanks

I haven't seen a book on how to set up an ideal shop.

I have gone through a heap of forums and once in a while hit something on how someone set up their shop.  One only had photos that I looked at to determine the placement of equipment.  If I come across something I'll post it here for you.

    Nice size space...Thor

     There are books for that??

Everything I've found has been online. I've google "jewelry studio" and other similar things to find pictures of what other jewelry artists have/are doing. I love seeing those and wish more did it. As soon as I have my site working, I'm going to have photos of my space, too.

Here's one of my favorites, the Bench Exchange at Ganoskin:

I'm so surprised that people are saying that they've not seen any books on setting up a studio. I know I've seen at least one, but that was awhile back when I didn't need it.  But thanks for answering my query and I thank you if you happen to find something you can share on this issue.  Ciao

It's interesting to see bench setups, but that isn't my problem. I have my bench set up, it's the other equipment like polishing machine, drill, kiln, soldering tank, etc. that I wonder about. I'd like the benefit of a long-time jewelers experience in setting up the entire room/space.  I thank you though for the link; I will visit it again to check things out more closely.
