There are more to come though they look very different - I have two more at home awaiting a tumble in the tumbler - well this one needs tumbled too but I snapped a pic anyway. :)
This is 20ga sterling with a 14k gold accent. Sterling tube bail on back. One photo pre-LOS the other after
I hope to show the others later tonight....
C&C welcomed!
So, about how big is this? The clean lines make it look big, but since it's a pendant I suspect that it's really more delicate. I like that it could be worn by a guy too.
Hi Jilla - I measured it for someone else but now am not sure exactly - I think its about an inch and a quarter long and a little less than that wide. Sometimes its just pictures that make things look so huge! Especially when they are close up like this. I hadn't thought of it for a guy but I can definitely see where this series would lend to that. (thanks for the idea!!)
I don't normally do the 'clean lines' thing but this series pulls on that. I have two more to post - need to get them off my camera. Will just add them to this thread later.
Here are the others in the series so far - - quite different from the first:
Sterling, hand textured and folded. Sterling wire and patina added.
Sterling with gold. Textured, folded, patinated.
YAY! DO IT! DO IT!
Then I wanna see. I always enjoy seeing your work. :)
It was my intent to do more in the series but I got sidetracked after the first 3.....
Love them all!! Especially the second one, that texture is delish!
Thank you so much! I really appreciate the feedback from fellow artists. :) Its very meaningful to me.
