Here's just one of a whole series of pendants and beads made from one cane of polymer. This is the "Big Bertha" before it gets reduced and cut into different sizes and shapes. It's about an inch and a half across but it seems bigger just because it's a bit noisy.
interesting design. the most amazing thing is how it really truly looks 3-D.
Wow I really admire polimer artists...How did you designed this pieceso it has sharows that makes it look so amaizingly 3D, because this is a flat piece right? Fabulous!!
Yes, it's flat. I have to thank Sarah Shriver for teaching me how to shade and manipulate the polymer to give the graphic such depth. This was a very good brainercise!
Love both pieces. And I like the way you made it up with the black and white beads.
Was the tutorial from a DVD or youtube or someplace else?
I've used two different Sarah Shriver tutorials. One was a good old-fashioned video tape and the other is her brand new Celtic DVD. Both are excellent.
WOW! That's really awesome. Nice work!
terrific piece, reminds me of an escher.
cheers, danika
