    Earthtone cane

Here's a pic with what I've been working on.  At the top of the pyramid is one of the pillow beads made from the cane I finished last week.  The pendants are from the Skinner blend scraps or parts of the sheets used to build the cane.   Ugh - just noticed the camera jiggled - sorry about that.

Jill, I like the "mixed media" approach with the pearls and metal added as accents.  The rich browns tones are pretty too. Jeanie

Yes I agree with everyone, the colors are very pretty! I especially like all the sculptural elements on your pendants... Lovely! (You shouldn't have told us you bumped the camera. I just figured I had gunk on my glasses!

    Jilla,

How have you done the backs? That reminds me, does anyone remember that one person who no longer comes to the forum who covered the back with seed beads? They were just stuck all willy-nilly in the clay.  I wonder what happened to her...

Oh, there's more than one person MIA. Bead set swap anyone?

The backs - the little one at the top is actually a pillow bead. so it's the same front and back.  All the others are just plain, flat backs because I start with cabs or rolled and cut disks.
