    Tropical Look Polymer Necklace

This is one of several pendants I made from a new cane I built last week.  The focal uses a slice of the cane as a base cabochon, then pieces of the same clay that was used for the cane only sculpted for the dimensional flowers and leaves.  Enjoy!

It's beautiful!  Making those tiny leaves and flowers on the pendant seems like a tedious job.  I like that there are a few other beads in the necklace that are similar to the pendant.  Fabulous piece!  Alice

I just adore this piece Jilla. And the swar tucked in is such a perfect touch.  Do you have your flowers liquid sculpied on? Nice soft green too, do I see a hint of trans in there? The other beads are just the perfect colors too. When are you and Sparklebee opening up shop?

Just awesome detail Jilla. I just love botanicals and you do them so well.

    Thanks for the eye candy.

    Jill,

That's so pretty!  I love the colors and the intricacy in the polymer. I haven't been out here in a long time. I put beading on the back burner during my company projects and the move we made.  I also tore something in my shoulder blade and haven't been able to do much beading for a while now.  Yesterday, I went over to Surf City Beads and signed up for the Beading Tea Party they're having on Sat. the 26th.  I bought a kit to make a necklace and will socialize with the other gals who attend.  It looks like fun.  Anyway, I decided I'll only do beading on occasion now when something special is going on, or I need to make a gift, or see something I can't do without making.  At least I'm not as addicted as I was before. :)  Well, I wanted to say "hello"....hope you're doing well and selling lots.

Glad you like it!  I'm discovering that a lot of people like this color combo.

Good to hear from you Cindy - was wondering about you.  Have fun at the Tea Party - what a neat idea.
