I read the broken turquoise donut post but I don't know what a donut is....But I dropped a turquoise fetish necklace pendant that has a 2  to 2 1/2 inch hunk of turquoise on it.as a drop piece  The tip broke off when it dropped but the 2 pieces fit perfectly back together (no chips) and the part that broke off is between 1/4 in to 1/2 inch.  Will the Opticon mentioned  work on a piece like that?  Thanks  Its a family piece and would I be better off taking it to a Jeweler?  I have used epoxies and glues on other work but never on stone.
