    First cuff bracelet

I bought some brass cuff blanks and finally tried one out. This one hasn't been buffed or sealed yet (my Dremel is back in Wisconsin by now). It's a little lumpy here and there, but it was a nice change from making beads. The 6" blank is a little big for me (I have thin wrists), so I may look into alternatives. Color's a little oversaturated in this pic, it's really a more realistic copper.

it looks great! reminds me of those wonderful cube beads you made a while back. I think you will get lots of compliments on this when you wear it.

I like it. How did you do the copper part?

    Thanks guys!

It was easy, Freda. I covered the top with textured black clay and trimmed the edges. Used Golden brand copper (fine) acrylic on my fingertip (just the tiniest bit) and lightly kissed the raised part of the texture. Let it dry, which is fast, then baked. Golden paint is rich and creamy and lush, like Lumiere, but you've got a much wider range of colors to choose from.

This came out great!  Wear it anyway - this could be something that someone would offer to buy right off your wrist.

I really like this Linelle.  If I wore jewelry...this would be it.  Hmmm about the paints...I am going to start a thread about something that has been nagging me a bit.
