Thanks ladies!
Gaby - the first one has about 25' (total) of wire, the 2nd & 3rd about 20' I have another one that I haven't taken pics of yet. I told you they were addictive - not only to wear, but to make, too!
Sue - I figured it out by looking at other coiled pieces by various artists. The core of the bracelet is heavy gauge 1/2 hard wire, then I take a smaller gauge wire and start coiling it around the core for a few coils, to hold it in place at the end. Then, I take an even smaller gauge wire and coil it around the second wire (I used 18 ft of 24g. wire coiled around the second wire on the bangle w/gemstone tassel), then coil THAT around the core wire. Does that make sense? It is easier than it looks! I don't know if there are any tutorials on this technique out there. (unfortunately, I do not have the spare time to write one, either!)
Thanks again for looking!
