    A Tour of my Studio

I always like to see pics of the places where others work in, so now it's my turn to show you mine.

Please come aboard for a tour of my studio.

Cristina, thanks for sharing your studio with us. You have a great setup. I am curious how other people have their work areas set up and am always looking for ideas that will work better for me. Organization is so important and when I am busy especially between shows, my work space gets VERY cluttered!

Hi Sue! Glad you liked the tour. My  work space is never really that neat, I had just cleaned up ;) The only thing I always keep organized are my beads (when I manage to put all the bead nags back in the containers!) Us artists are meant to be creatively messy :)

Snug little studio you have there. Nothing is ever far form your table. I think a dog is better then a cat for beading studios. Dogs are not as likely to go after a bead or string as a cat. I always have a dog or two under foot or I should say under bench. I have to clear them out when I am sawing so that silver sawdust doesn't get in their eyes. I had trouble with the youngest dog chewing the vynil grips off of the pliers and the hammer handles until I put bitter apple on them. I kept telling her she didn't have opposable thumbs to use tools. I no longer have a rawhide hammer. It turned into a big dog chew toy.
