so I thought I'd share this

If you sell your handmade items you might be interested in the following two things.

1. There is an Easter egg hunt organized on Artfire.com; You can win Gift vouchers to buy handmade items..support handmade in a fun way ..the contest is free ..even kids can join! Here is the link http://easter-eggs-artfire.blogspot.com/ , it runs until the 21st.

2; If you haven't heard of Artfire then you might be interested. Its an online selling site for anything handmade! They started in september last year so the are still young. But growing very strongly. The reason for their growth is that the advertise to buyers...not to sellers. Also you don't pay commission on your sales , you don't pay a listing fee either. You can sell up to ten items in your own studio for free ...if you have a larger inventory you can sell unlimited items for a flat monthly fee of 12$ .

I'm posting this here because even though there is a lot of jewelry on offer ..there is not a lot of "art" jewelry on offer yet.

They allow you to advertise your other venues and sites, they have a rapid cart system so that you can have your studio on other sites and buyers do not have to become members.

Looking for luxury fancy diamond art works I found an article about a guy from Germany who seems to be very talented. His name is Michael Weggenmann. Here is what he does: LOUNGE 8
I am speaking german (more or less) but I am not very familiar with the german diamond market at all.
Is there anybody who has experience with the diamond art market in Germany and (perhaps) does anybody know this guy ?

thx
artvestor
