Same here. I don't discount it because I think that destroys the perceived value of pc overall. If it's in my etsy store and it's good but just out of season in terms of color, I'll hang onto it and let the listing go dormant until the season rolls around again, then I'll relist.

That said, I've got a couple of shows coming up and I'm tagging some of the older items for a "show special" so they will be on sale during the show, but will be back at full price after the show. "On sale" is not the same as "discounted" in that it is temporary and not a permanent price reduction.

I've donated a lot of pretty good stuff to Working Wardrobes, which is a local organization that works with women and their families who are victims of abuse and trying to start over.

Oh I have plenty of this stuff! I don't normally sell it at a discount. If I think it's really good I'll either hang on to it, keep it for myself, or donate it. If it's not that great and I can use some of the components I take it apart. If it's not that good and I don't want any of the components I give it to charity, or my daughter or her friends.

What do you do with your jewelry you have made when it hasn't sold and you are tired of carrying it around? If you sell it at a discount, what percentage do you take off and where do you sell it?
