    bronze colored solder?

    hello!

i'm about to experiment with bronze clay for the first time.

after i make and fire a piece, i may want to solder it to bronze sheet, wire etc.

i tried looking for info on google, but couldnt find what i need.

is there a special bronze colored solder that i can use?  i would hate to have my silver colored solder flow all over my bronze color pieces.

    any ideas?

    THANKS!!

    Re: bronze colored solder?

ok gotcha - seems like some solder company could make a lot of $$$ by creating a copper colored solder and a bronze colored solder..... ;)

is anyone out there soldering bronze?

if so, got any tips or tricks?

     :)
any help is appreciated - i've just started trying to work with bronze.

    THANKS!

Your local welding suppliers may have #45 brazing filler solder. It's intended for brazing (soldering) copper to copper and has a color similar to bronze. This solder may  be available at silver smith suppliers like Rio Grande, Monsterslayer, Indian Jeweler's Supply, Thunderbird Supply, etc.
