Massachusetts, East Coast, New England, U.S.
Born and raised in New England, I don't think I'll ever leave this beautiful seasonal area! It seems I can find beauty in every aspect of our weather, hot and humid, or cold and blustery! I know there's alot of other jewelry designers from New England here - Maine, Ct., R.I., Mass., NH, Vermont !! I got into simple beading 3 years ago, and now I'm doing coiling and tumbling and drillling my own Sandwich Glass from Cape Cod, MA. I am completely addicted to beading and general jewelry designing and will probably go broke before it's all over!!!

I am another New Englander. I used to live in Cambridge (summers) as a child. Now I reside in RI. Homegirl, I too started with simple beading and now am into making glass beads at the torch and learning fusing in my kiln. It's just a hobby for me but what fun it is!

Hi Mary,
I'm also from Cape Cod, here in Yarmouth Port. Hubby and I live in CT for 33 years and made the move 3 years ago this month. We love it here and have not been disappointed.
Guess we will go broke together.
Are you going to go to the Bead Show in Falmouth on the 19th of August at the Gus Canty Bldg? It's one my daughter and I always go to.

Re: Massachusetts, East Coast, New England, U.S.
I'm from New Hampshire, and a hardcore silversmith, who is not afraid to dive into metals to make my creations. I also am a jewelry teacher, teaching all over NH, MA and CT. Always willing to teach at new places. Being being a silversmith, I'm also a wireweaver and wire-knitter, and occasionally, will get my hands on a Minor burner to make glass beads, usually when I'm teaching at Snow Farm Craft Program, which has all kinds of classes and workshops in all craft fields.
If any of you are going to visit NH, come visit the Annual Craftsmen Fair at Mt. Sunapee Resort in Newbury, NH, from Aug 2 to 10. This is a great fair and lots of wonderful crafts. www.nhcrafts.org
