Hi All, I would be so grateful if someone know where I can purchase blank sterling pendant bars.  Thanks!

I don't know but the ones pictured just look like big square wire cut to length, drilled and stamped. Why not try that?

Brilliant!  I never thought of that.  Now here is my delema....I'm basically just a "beader" and I don't have many tools.  What would I use to saw, drill and file the bar with??  Also do you know were I can purchase the thick square wire?

    Thanks!

I think you answered you own question. You use a saw, jewelers, then a drill, hand or electric but the chuck on an electric may be to big for the size of bit you need, files and sand papers will take care of your needs for smoothing off the cut corners on the wire. I don't know what size of community you live in but if there is not a jewelers supply store in your area there is always the web to shop on. There are also some very fine tutorials here a AJ on basic jeweler techniques to consider. Large gage silver wire can be purchased on line. Otto Frei has a nice selection of tools and I believe that they also sell the metal too.

What about metal clay?  Might be an expensive way to get there, though.

I think that they have extruders for shapes like that, sort of like big syringes. Fill them with metal clay and push out the shape, round, square, triangle, etc.  I think that Cool Tools has them.
