    Resin without a backing

I want to pour resin into a frame w/o a backing.  I soldered some thick square wire into a shape (frame) and then soldered earwires - now just need to fill.  Any suggestions?

I've used duct tape on backless frames/bezels. I'm not positive but I think a friend used that "press and peel" saran wrap. The duct tape will leave a texture on the cured resin.

Yea!  I'll try it tonight.  No problems with leakage?

Well, since you did it last night, any leakage?

We didn't have a problem with leakage as long as the duct tape was firmly attached to the frame/bezel and frame/bezel should be flat.

the standard way to do this is by putting tape on the back. and as was mentioned you will probably have a texture.
