It appears that the coding on our forums doesn't seem to automatically work with Flickr. Though it's not exactly intuitive, there is a fairly simple way around this problem.
Follow along:
- Open your Flickr account to the image you'd like to post, and click on the "Share This" button at the top right [turquoise circle, below]. Select the "Grab the HTML" button. Copy and paste the coding within that box [text highlighted in purple below].

- Your copied code should look something like this:
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/artjewelrymag/3817958156/" title="ArtJewelryMag_Howard_Siegel_wallpaper by Art Jewelry Magazine, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3560/3817958156_ed6c1824f5.jpg" width="500" height="375" alt="ArtJewelryMag_Howard_Siegel_wallpaper" /></a>
You need the exact address of the image, which is the bold text above. This address is the one that starts right after the tag: <img src=" Copy that address, leaving out the quotation marks on either end. You can discard the rest of the code.
- Open your forum post, and click on the "Insert/Edit" button, which is the one with an illustration of a tree on it [turquoise circle, below]. A box will appear, as shown below.
Paste the address of the Flickr image into the "Image URL" space [green circle, below].
Using the drop-down menu, set the Alignment of the image [pink circle, below] to determine how it will appear relative to text - I chose baseline, but you can select any option. Click "Insert" and the image will appear in the post.

- You can then add or edit any remaining text, and publish your post. Make sure to click on the "Preview" tab at the top of the post to see how it will look when you're finished.
I hope that made sense, and that it helps you Flickr Users share your work to our forums. And if you are on Flickr, add Art Jewelry Magazine as a contact. Our page is http://www.flickr.com/people/artjewelrymag/
We love to see what you guys are up to and creating!
