Looking for name of a weave

Hi! I saw an absolutely lovely bracelet on a lady recently.  I have searched and I don't know what the name of it is.  It looked like a cross between a parallel / helm weave and a byzantine weave BUT it was unusual in that the pattern contained rings that were actually bent in half -- that is what made it look like a faux byzantine.

    Thank you

That sounds exceptionally unusual - have you posted over at The Ring Lord or MAIL forms?  There are some exceptionally creative folks over there who are "extreme maillers" who may have seen this - perhaps one of them even came up with it.

In the Sept. '07 issue of Art Jewelry, there is "Celtic Challenge", a chain bracelet made with bent-over links.
