    Titanium wire

Hope I spelled that right!  Anyway I purchased some  of this lovely wire in beautiful colors from the Ring Lord hoping to make necklaces ( chokers) out of it...does anybody have ideas for clasps for this?  Thanks

if it is sufficiently thick you can make a large spiral out of the wire with a long hook at the end. on the other end you can wire wrap a closed jump ring, or use the wire to create a two-headed eye pin. these pics show 18 g wire although I understand 16 is recommended for a clasp.or, you can get Delia's toggle tutorial and create a custom toggle with the wire.

The Ring Lord sells titanium clasps as well...both natural and anondized.  (And they are the cheapest around for titanium clasps.)

Thanks both of you!  Actually 'Bee I purchased a thinner gauge as I plan to use several strands to make the necklace....I am thinking now it may be too thin..if so..I will return and get the thicker gauge...Longcanyonjewelry...back to the Ring Lord!  And I do have Delia's tute..so it looks like I have a few options..thanks again!

Also check out some of the free clasp designs at www.wigjig.com - even though they are made with a jig it's not too hard to make them with round nose pliers.
