Well... can anyone tell me what is the difference between Liver of Sulfur and plain powder sulfur?

Besides the fact that sulfur doesnt dissolve in water (which I just learned)

I want to get some LOS but dont know what is the name in Spanish. I would get it in the US but I dont know if I can travel with that.

The chemical name for LOS is potassium sulfide. Plain powder sulfur is a different chemical.

I have not tried it, but ammonium sulfide (a chemical used as a garden spray) is supposed to work as an alternative to LOS. This may be easier to find when traveling. Also, you can use egg yolks.

Thanks for your reply! I currently do the hard boiled egg thing, but Im going to take the formula for the potassium sulfide to see if I can get it.
