    We Orange County-ites like to meet at Gem Faire and even held a bead swap last year. If you're from OC please reply to this thread.

    well hi there. fyi a bunch of us met at Gem Faire in October. maybe we can have another meetup in December.

    Yeah, meetups are fun!  Hopefully in December I won't have bellydancing if we meet on Sunday because in August I was beyond exhausted after walking around so much.

     Sparklebee, did you ever post the group pic from August?

    No I am not in any guilds or clubs. I am just starting to gather all the stuff I need to make clay beads and bits so any tips you can give me I would really appreciate. where in OC are you? I am by the Angels Stadium

    I'm in South OC, RSM. my husband works by you. I really recommend joining the polymer clay guild, they meet once per month in Costa Mesa.  Also, if you need beads you should check out Gem Faire, the next one is Dec 7-9 at the fairgrounds. if you have not already, check out www.polymerclaycentral.com.

     Hi Robyn! The next Gem Faire is not until August 8. No meetings have been set up yet but hopefully we can meet up for a bit. What kind of jewelry do you create?

    A little bit of everything - Wire (all tho lately - just to wire brio's to chain!) - Beading - I am taking a Jewelry Making Class in Venice and work in silver and have a copper washer thing going on!
