    Mark all forums read.

Is there a button somewhere where I can "mark all forums read"  I can never seem to tell where the new posts are.  Am I missing something?

    Thanks, Danny

the best way to see all the new posts is to skip checking each section and just use the "posts you have not read" link on the far right of the home screen. you can ignore the posts you don't care to read and you will not miss anything.

Thanks sparklebee I do not run or operate a forum so I do not know whats involved, but I am sure it is a ton of work.  This is a great source for us jewelry artists.  BUT it sure would be nice to be able to wipe the slate clean and know exactly which posts are new.  We could help each other better and more effeciently.

    Thanks again, Danny.

I asked the same thing back in July http://cs.artjewelrymag.com/artcs/forums/t/931.aspx and just gave up on this board and only check in once every couple of weeks. I just look at two or three forums that interest me and skip the others :(  It's a shame that such a minor effect isn't included in this software when it's a standard in 95% of others (vBulletin, even the free phpBB and others).

I'm just happy I figured out how to mark a single forum read. I went through all of them one by one (didn't take me that long).

    Hi Danny,

While you can't mark everything in the Art Jewelry forums as read, you can mark the individual forums as read.

When you navigate to a specific forum (such as About this Web site), you'll see a button labeled "More Options" at the bottom of the page. When you click on that button you'll see different options, and there's a button labeled "mark all read,"  which will mark all topics within that forum as read.

Another option is to use the "posts you have not read" feature, as other members mentioned.
