Is there any such thing as sheet pewter?

Is there any such thing as lead-free (or California-compliant) sheet pewter that can be fabricated like silver ? I have some earrings that I am trying to make something to match.

    thanks!

Normal 0 Keep all surfaces and tools used with pewter permanently separate from anything else you use with other metals. Pewter is a low melting temp metal, if it gets attached to any other metal and that metal gets heated the pewter will put a hole right through it.

If you need just a little bit of sheet go to the nearest Goodwill and see if they have any English made tankards. They are made of lead free pewter. I cut the rim off, cut down along either side of the handle, then cut around the bottom and thus have an odd shaped sheet of pewter. If you need it thinner and have a rolling mill you can run it through that or hammer it to the desired thickness. I save the top and bottom trimmings and the handle and save them for future projects. Here in the Phoenix area a tankard will cost around $2 or less at Goodwill.
