Does anyone know how to wire wrap a marble? I need a loop on both ends to attach it to a chain. Since there is no hole, I am stumped.

you need to make a cage. see Mark Lareau's book, "All Wired Up" for instructions.

Mathew, I found this on your etsy store, would you say this type of wrapping is very safe? I would not be making it interchangeable, but I want to know if the marble wont fall off. My client likes to take this marble (which is a huge crystal ball, like 25-30 mm) when she goes on hikes and to waterfalls and stuff, so it needs to be really secure. Also, what size wire would you recommend? 18 ga?

The marble will not fall out. It is interchangeable by nature but you don't have to change out the marbles if you don't want to. Being interchangeable is just more marketable and appealing to customers. Since the marble you are wrapping is bigger than usual... I would go 20 or 18 gauge. You can use dead soft or medium hard.

Very good advice was given here. I've read everything.

I was thinking of another way to turn a tumbled stone with no holes in it into a pendant.

This involves wires and a bit of soldering, and it's quite an easy project.

Here are pictures of a couple of pendants I made.  If you're interested, I'll post for you instructions of how to make it (wrote it for a member in another forum).
