Free Project pdf opens a blank page

    Hi everyone:

I am wiredwrapper and I am new to the forum--I do wire work and would be very interested in doing the free project called TOUGH CUFF--but when I click on the pdf link it just opens a blank page with an error sign bottom left corner--can you tell me what I am doing wrong--I have adobe reader version 5 on my computer--do I need to upgrade this version?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. wiredwrapper

    Hi, Wiredwrapper,

Updating your reader might be the best place to start. Also, since that project is for registered users, you may want to log off and log back in before trying to download the PDF again. If you still can't access the PDF, please let us know.

    Sincerely,

    Hi Katie Streeter:

I got it to work, I logged out and then after about 10 or so minutes, came back, logged in again and tried again--but still got the BLANK PAGE thing!!!!  so I did the right-click thing and vo-la--it started to download it to my computer  I just clicked on the "save target as" and away it went.

Thankyou for your reply and I shall be back--checking out this site a lot more and will be looking into the other areas on metal work and silversmithing and of course, wirework.

    Thankx again--wiredwrapper
