Have also posted this request under general information.  I am looking for a source for premage prong settings.  The silver selection is much smaller than the gold ones, and I want to buy rather than these.  I have resorted to getting stud earring settings and cutting off the posts but would like to find a good source of the castings themselves.

http://www.alpha-supply.com/index.php I found that this place has a fairly large selection of silver prong settings. They have snap-tight and cast wire so it looks like a good selection compared to what I have seen at other sites. I hope that this helps.

Thanks Bentiron.  They do have a good selection, including what I need, at reasonable prices - so will give them a try
