    Bangle blanks

I noticed yesterday at Michael's that all the wood bangle blanks are marked half off for clearance, it anyone is interested in something to cover with clay.

These came and went FAST!  They were new at CHA in February, showed up as a new item at Michael's in April or thereabouts, and now they are going by-by.   I never saw them advertised, nor did they have any classes to show folks what could be done with them.  They are quite nice, very light weight, and smooth.  Different diameters and widths.

I saw a couple of them the last time I was at Michaels. Just a few, sort of randomly sitting at the end of an aisle.

I've read that covering wood is courting cracking, unless you bake it good before covering. Anybody have any experience covering wood?

like you said, just bake for awhile to make sure all the moisture is gone and I doubt you'd have problems with cracking.  I've had one of those bangles for months but never did anything with it yet.
