    More than a little twisted.........

I have been having fun making variations on a theme with these bracelets.  They take a LOT of wire, but the effect is stunning, and they are addictive to wear!

    Thanks for looking!

     Hey Pippi!

I love these bracelets! I wonder how many feet of SS you used...

My favorite is the last one, it looks like it is weaved!

    Take care

    These are wonderful!

Are there any tutorials out there that teach this technique? I would love to learn how to do this.

    Nice work!

Re: More than a little twisted.........

    Thanks ladies!

Gaby - the first one has about 25' (total) of wire, the 2nd & 3rd about 20'  I have another one that I haven't taken pics of yet.  I told you they were addictive - not only to wear, but to make, too!

Sue - I figured it out by looking at other coiled pieces by various artists. The core of the bracelet is heavy gauge 1/2 hard wire, then I take a smaller gauge wire and start coiling it around the core for a few coils, to hold it in place at the end.  Then, I take an even smaller gauge wire and coil it around the second wire (I used 18 ft of 24g. wire coiled around the second wire on the bangle w/gemstone tassel), then coil THAT around the core wire.  Does that make sense?  It is easier than it looks!  I don't know if there are any tutorials on this technique out there. (unfortunately, I do not have the spare time to write one, either!)

     Thanks again for looking!
