Joshua Kewish has been a silversmith since 2006, but has been making art all his life. A chance encounter with Aleris Hart, a 30+ year silversmith, changed his life path. Along with his wife who is also a silversmith, he strives to make unique wearable art jewelry items. Seeing Ms. Hart's work touched his soul. Holding metal in his fingers for the first time, he immediately felt the creative urge. That is how he knew he had, at long last, found his creative calling. His philosophy is simple: if a million of them have already been made, why make more? Always strive to make something new. He may not always succeed, but the purity of that impulse guides everything he makes.
