About Danielle Beaty

Metalsmith and jewelry designer for 5 years and counting. Web/Graphic design on the side, mom of 2, wife to a wonderful active duty Coast Guardsman, currently living in Staten Island NY. Soon to be a minivan driver (!!! I never thought it would come to that....LOL), own and love 2 dogs, though one chews everything I own to bits....I paint, draw, sketch, craft, create, dabble and am constantly inspired. Love the ocean, the beach, the sea, whatever body of water it is, I love it. Love the mountains, love fall and winter, love to sunbathe, even though it's awful for you... I take a 2 month hiatus to my beach home in FL yearly, and am now getting sideswiped of my time due to school schedules! Boo hiss. Love my palm trees though; they keep me grounded. My favorite beer is a cold one, my favorite shot is Tequila and my favorite color is red, though I am consistently drawn to blue/green tones. I work and play in an assortment of brightly colored Crocs along with my son and we have Jibbitz of pirates, crabs and surfer themes decorating them accordingly. I painted every room in my house a different color and I work inside our condo currently. Lost my studio in the last move....*cry*..... I think that is it. I am mildly crazy, but that's because I'm a mom and a wife and all that other stuff at one time while trying to work...just like the rest of the women out there. It's a wild ride, but I love it. Oh, and did I mention I love to create jewelry and pound on metal and play with fire and make lampwork beads too? :)
