beach lady's Profile

About Andria

I have been in the professional layout/graphic design industry for over 25 years and have previously worked on the staff of two newspapers and currently am involved with my third - a monthly publication my husband publishes. In addition, I design logos, brochures, advertisements, flyers, invitations and anything in between on a freelance basis. I also have an enduring love of nature. Let that not be confused with being an outdoorsy-type. I am not a camper. But, I love to look around and observe simple, natural beauty. What is there not to enjoy? My life is hectic, but who has a life that is not? I collect and save everything. Then, I figure out a way to re-combine things. One of my favorite activities is collecting sea glass. It is truly like a treasure hunt, and nothing beats a walk on the beach. Afterward, I sit back and combine the sea glass with a piece of something else I have collected, most usually it is broken vintage jewelry. Amazing, but somehow my brain goes on autopilot and I end up with new pieces of jewelry, or frames, or wine stoppers, or whatever. Such loads of fun and sooooo therapeutic ... my passion. Both of these fields of endeavor allow me a wonderful and never-ending outlet for my creativity.
