The inspiration was a Japanese block print of a Sunami Wave. I made the polymer clay shell beads and the wave beads and combined them with other real shell beads, frosted glass beads and tiny coral twigs. The beautifully carved limestone , especially when lit at night is what inspired me to make these polymer clay tile beads and some off white ones also. I decided to use them like buttons as the center of flowers.  The flower petals are free motion machine stitched felt and organza.
