This necklace is entirely handmade. I made the chain, clasp and head pins with Sterling silver wire. The sea glass is entirely genuine and was found on a beach in England. It was worn smooth only by the tumbling action of England's North Sea.

Hi,
I would like to start bezel setting sea glass and am concerned about tarnish building up behind the sea glass. Since sea glass is translucent this could be a problem. I have thought about using fine silver but even that will tarnish after a while. Is there a way to prevent this?

Many of the worlds best wire jewelry artists do cold working and do not solder jump rings. In order to have a jump ring that can not be opened easily you must use heavy gauge wire.
