Thanks. The ring's actually in four parts. The stones where set on the flat peice as usual with fine silver, then I made the three seperate hoods and riveted them on with 1mm tubing. I'll see if I can get a pic up of the seperate hoods before I attached them. They were actually really pretty on their own.
