no new opinions here, Deb, sorry. I had heard both good and bad about those pc-specific ovens. I use a Euro-Pro convection toaster oven in my studio and it seems to do a great job.

I submitted a design to Sundance earlier this year and never heard back. I think my item was too trendy. I don't like their policy of not responding if not interested. at least tell the person why they were not accepted so they can either make adjustments or at least understand the reasoning behind the decision.

no, resin is inexpensive to try out. get it at the craft store. I also recommend Envirotex Lite. I've used gallons of the stuff.

your best bet is to locate the closest polymer clay guild. there are lots of beginners in these guilds. you should also check out Polymer Clay Central's forum. very nice ladies who love to help.
