It is made with pmc3 and is totally hand sculpted.

I added some new entries
tonight. I have a few more I want to add soon. I am blogging about my
work and what I offer. I also am going to blog about interesting stuff
besides jewelry. I also blog about other artists work. I am currently
looking for artists to feature on my blog. I am offering my time and
free advertisement. Please check out my crafting blog and let me know
if you might be interested. I will consider all inquires but all will
not be approved. If you do quality work... you have a better chance of
being blogged. Sorry... don't know how to put it politely. I'm very
busy but try to set time aside to blog. I want to blog about quality...
not quantity. There are many factors that come into play. I'm new at
blogging and hope my upcoming entries will be of some interest.

My new blog...

http://crazyaboutcrafting.wordpress.com/

Matthew Nix

looking for PMC in dubai

Hi everyone, I live in Dubai. We are excited in here in the Land of the Midnight Sun to see the sun staying up longer every day and the price of metal clay going down..... In hard economic times. The artist is often the looser when Indonesian and Chinese products are flooding the American market with mass produced, mass marketed jewelry and so called art pieces. I am sure everyone feels it, kind of like sending all out tech support calls to India, and all of our auto worker jobs to Brazil. America is capable of keeping up with the precious metal clay business, without looking to other countries like Japan for invention and production. If you are in Alaska, check out the local bead and glass shops in the state for new American made products; bronze, brass, copper and a blend of Metal Clay.

An article explaining the technique will appear in Art Jewelry for the March issue, but here is an example of one of the pieces I did for the article. (The ladder effect down the side is an example of the negative space caning)

This piece is make with Fine silver metal clay, cubic zircons, crystalline rainbow titanium

Thanks for checking it out.
~ Holly
