The flower focal point is constructed from Sterling silver wire. The silver double fox tail chain is made up of individual fine silver (99.9% pure) jump rings that are fused and woven together, to create a round, ropelike quality. This type of chain is sometimes called a Roman Chain.

Sometimes the simplest things can be the inspiration for a gorgeous piece. A plastic starfish toy was the inspiration for this piece. I happen to be holding both, the starfish and the amethyst donut, at the same time and I liked the look of the starfish holding on to a gem.

Getting ready for Valentine's Day! Using my Kiln, I formed these Ruby Red Antique Sandwich Glass Teardrops. I sanded them and polished quite a bit before drilling and attaching them to the Sterling Chain. I am totally drawn to glass now, and I am Loving my Kiln! Thanks for looking!

I rec'd a Kiln for Christmas, and this is my first project. I molded 2 different red Sandwich Glass colors into a barrette. Then I drilled and added some Sterling. All constructed with Sterling wire, no adhesives. It was fun to do, but I'm still experimenting with this particular glass. Thanks...

I've been dying to use this beautiful piece of Antique Sandwich Glass in just the right way. It came to me last night, and I started weaving 3 gold fill wires with apatite gemstones for the base. Dangling from that is the pretty color Sandwich Glass, made in the late 1800's and buried underground...
