Scraps of polymer clay, some with painted surfaces, were partially melded. The resulting crackled gaps add to the final design.

Scrapes of clay were encased in a brass copper frame. The different effects were produced using an intricate cane scrap, pearlescent clay and metallic paint coatings.

This brooch is made entirely of polymer clay. Controlled blending of scraps create a watercolor effect. Use of pearl clay creates a nice shimmer. Patterned clay, covered with mica powder, creates the outer frame.

This brooch is made entirely of polymer clay. The base looks like jade and has a nice translucent quality. Clay scraps were used to create the layers, one of which looks like ivory. Metallic paints enhance the abstract patterns of the remaining colored clay scraps.
